Hydrotreating of light gas oil using a NiMo catalyst supported on activated carbon produced from fluid

摘要: Nitric acid functionalized steam activated carbon (NAFSAC) was prepared from waste fluid petroleum coke (FPC) and used as a support material for the synthesis of a NiMo catalyst (2.5 wt-% Ni and 13 wt-% Mo). The catalyst was then used for the hydrotreatment of light gas oil. The support and catalysts were characterized by Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) gas adsorption method, X-ray diffraction, H -temperature programmed reduction, NH -temperature programmed desorption, CO-chemisorption, mass spetrography, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Boehm titration, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The SEM results showed that the carbon material retained a needle like structure after functionalization with HNO . The Boehm titration, FTIR, and BET results confirmed that the HNO functionalized material had moderate acidity, surface functional groups, and mesoporosity respectively. The produced NAFSAC had an inert nature, exhibited the sink effect and few metal support interactions, and contained functional groups. All of which make it a suitable support material for the preparation of a NiMo hydrotreating catalyst. Hydrotreating activity studies of the NiMo/NAFSAC catalyst were carried out under industrial operating conditions in a laboratory trickle bed reactor using coker light gas oil as the feedstock. A parallel study was performed on the hydrotreating activity of NiMo/ -Al O as a reference catalyst. The hydrodesulfurization and hydrodenitrogenation activities of the NiMo/NAFSAC catalyst were 62% and 30%, respectively.

Co-hydrotreating light cycle oil-canola oil blends

摘要: Canola oil and light cycle oil (LCO) blends were co-hydrotreated over a commercial hydrotreating catalyst (NiMo/Al O ) to produce diesel fuel with a green diesel component. High hydrodeoxygenation, hydrodesulphurization and hydrodenitrogenation catalytic activities were achieved for all three feedstocks tested in the temperature range of 350–380 °C with a hydrogen pressure of 7 MPa and a gas/oil ratio of 800 nL/L. The hydrocracking conversion of the 360 °C+ materials in the feedstocks increased by 5% and 15% when 5 and 7.5 wt-% canola oil was added to the LCO, respectively. Compared to the pure LCO, the cetane index of the diesel product formed from hydrotreating the two canola oil-LCO blends increased by 2.5 and 4, respectively. Due to the higher hydrogen requirement to crack and deoxygenate the triglycerides contained in the canola oil, a higher hydrogen consumption was needed to hydrotreat the canola oil-LCO blends.

轻烃分析录井技术在海拉尔盆地的应用

摘要:

为适应海拉尔盆地快速勘探开发工作的需要,有效解决在快速钻井(钻井提速)条件下,岩屑录井、地化录井等依托岩屑样品发现油气显示以及评价储层所面临的技术难题,按照优选先进适用录井技术的要求,在海拉尔盆地进行了轻烃分析录井技术应用。笔者阐述了轻烃分析录井技术的原理和特点,并对该项技术的实际应用效果进行了分析,为轻烃分析录井技术的推广应用奠定了坚实基础。

Mesoporous zeolites as efficient catalysts for oil refining and natural gas conversion

摘要: Zeolites have been regarded as one of the most important catalysts in petrochemical industry due to their excellent catalytic performance. However, the sole micropores in zeolites severely limit their applications in oil refining and natural gas conversion. To solve the problem, mesoporous zeolites have been prepared by introducing mesopores into the zeolite crystals in recent years, and thus have the advantages of both mesostructured materials (fast diffusion and accessible for bulky molecules) and microporous zeolite crystals (strong acidity and high hydrothermal stability). In this review, after giving a brief introduction to preparation, structure, and characterization of mesoporous zeolites, we systematically summarize catalytic applications of these mesoporous zeolites as efficient catalysts in oil refining and natural gas conversion including catalytic cracking of heavy oil, alkylation, isomerization, hydrogenation, hydrodesulfurization, methane dehydroaromatization, methanol dehydration to dimethyl ether, methanol to olefins, and methanol to hydrocarbons.

全球主要盆地油气分布规律

摘要:

全球发育的含油气盆地有上千个,根据盆地结构特征可将含油气盆地分为3 大类型:克拉通盆地、断陷盆地和前陆盆地。笔者按这3 大类型盆地论述其油气分布规律。克拉通盆地:油汽主要分布在盆地内的古隆起、古斜坡,区域性的不整合及断裂带内;断陷盆地:油气主要分布在深凹带内的构造带、陡坡带和缓坡带;前陆盆地:油气主要分布在前陆断摺带、斜坡带、逆埯带及坳陷帶。这些规律性的认识,对全球油气勘探工作具有重要的指导意义。

New Challenges, New Opportunities and New Measures for Oil and Gas Cooperation in the Belt and Road

摘要: First-mover advantage and solid foundation of oil and gas cooperation is very important to the Belt and Road Initiative. Deeply studied opportunities and challenges of oil and gas cooperation have far-reaching significance to the cooperation in other industries in the Belt and Road. In this article, based on the systematic analysis of the oil and gas supply security, investment environment, regional win-win situation in oil and gas cooperation, new opportunities and challenges about upstream, pipeline, refining, trade, warehousing, engineering technology and equipment are studied. Enhancing capacities in four areas and implementing the 16 measures are given for deepening oil and gas cooperation in the future. Meanwhile, this article also gives suggestions and cooperation directions for countries and companies.

中国油气勘探开发的历史,就是开拓创新的历史。这段历史取得了辉煌的成就,实现了陆相和海相油气勘探两大跨越。自主创新了八大油气地质理论和八大技术系列,发现500多个油气田,2010年产油达2.1×108 t油当量,天然气950×108 m3。从近期研究和实践认为,中国油气资源十分丰富,勘探潜力巨大,勘探领域广泛,并提出了油气资源开发的战略。

Kinetic study of hydrodesulfurization of coker gas oil in a slurry reactor

摘要: Coker gas oil (CGO) is a poor-quality feedstock for fluidized bed catalytic cracking (FCC) or hydrocracking. The pretreatment of CGO, especially hydrotreating, can significantly improve the product quality and protect the catalyst. In this work, we studied the hydrodesulfurization (HDS) of CGO in a slurry reactor. All the experiments were carried out in an autoclave using a NiMo/Al O catalyst at reaction temperature 340°C–400°C, pressure 6–10 MPa, and stirring speed 800 r·min , with hydrogen-to-oil ratio in the range of 500–1500. The effects of the operating parameters on the desulfurization ratio were investigated and discussed. A macro reaction kinetic model was established for the HDS of CGO in the slurry reactor.

Analyzing the energy intensity and greenhouse gas emission of Canadian oil sands crude upgrading through

摘要: This paper presents an evaluation of the energy intensity and related greenhouse gas/CO emissions of integrated oil sands crude upgrading processes. Two major oil sands crude upgrading schemes currently used in Canadian oil sands operations were investigated: coking-based and hydroconversion-based. The analysis, which was based on a robust process model of the entire process, was constructed in Aspen HYSYS and calibrated with representative data. Simulations were conducted for the two upgrading schemes in order to generate a detailed inventory of the required energy and utility inputs: process fuel, steam, hydrogen and power. It was concluded that while hydroconversion-based scheme yields considerably higher amount of synthetic crude oil (SCO) than the coker-based scheme (94 wt-% vs. 76 wt-%), it consumes more energy and is therefore more CO -intensive (413.2 kg CO /m vs. 216.4 kg CO /m ). This substantial difference results from the large amount of hydrogen consumed in the ebullated-bed hydroconverter in the hydroconversion-based scheme, as hydrogen production through conventional methane steam reforming is highly energy-intensive and therefore the major source of CO emission. Further simulations indicated that optimization of hydroconverter operating variables had only a minor effect on the overall CO emission due to the complex trade-off effect between energy inputs.

Strategic Thinking on Shallow-water Oil and Gas Exploration in Offshore China

摘要: The oil and gas exploration in offshore China has made great achievements, and as the important areas of offshore exploration, the shallow waters contribute most of the oil and gas reserves and production. However, the available area for exploration is diminishing and the cost of exploration is rising. The field changes and ever increasing difficulties of exploration bring new challenges technically and economically. Therefore, for effective exploration of shallow-water oil and gas in offshore China, it is necessary to center on the general requirements of becoming a powerful marine country and the ideas of value exploration, initiate key research projects in the fields of China’s offshore stratigraphic-lithologic reserves, Paleogene reserves, buried-hill reserves, high temperature and pressure reserves and hydrocarbon-rich sags, and form geological theories and explorative technologies of large and medium size oil and gas field in offshore China. The measures regarding the challenges include: (1) Innovating theoretical understanding and optimizing new exploration fields, (2) developing technical capabilities and improving the success rate of exploration, and (3) enhancing management level and deepening value exploration.

Approach and potential of replacing oil and natural gas with coal in China

摘要: China’s fossil energy is characterized by an abundance of coal and a relative lack of oil and natural gas. Developing a strategy in which coal can replace oil and natural gas is, therefore, a necessary and practical approach to easing the excessive external dependence on oil and natural gas. Based on the perspective of energy security, this paper proposes a technical framework for defining the substitution of oil and natural gas with coal in China. In this framework, three substitution classifications and 11 industrialized technical routes are reviewed. Then, three scenarios (namely, the cautious scenario, baseline scenario, and positive scenario) are developed to estimate the potential of this strategy for 2020 and 2030. The results indicate that oil and natural gas replaced by coal will reach 67 to 81 Mt and 8.7 to 14.3 Gm in 2020 and reach 93 to 138 Mt and 32.3 to 47.3 Gm in 2030, respectively. By implementing this strategy, China’s external dependence on oil, natural gas, and primary energy is expected to be curbed at approximately 70%, 40%, and 20% by 2030, respectively. This paper also demonstrates how coal, as a substitute for oil and natural gas, can contribute to carbon and pollution reduction and economic cost savings. It suggests a new direction for the development of the global coal industry and provides a crucial reference for energy transformation in China and other countries with similar energy situations.

Experimental investigation on oil-gas separator of air-conditioning systems

摘要: The oil-return system plays an important role in the variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems because it ensures the reliable operation of the VRF systems. The oil-gas separator is the most essential component of the oil-return system, and the separation efficiency of the separator directly influences the performance of the VRF systems. Therefore, in this paper, a test rig was built to measure the oil discharge ratio of the compressor and the separation efficiency of the oil-gas separator. A sound velocity transducer was used to measure the oil mass concentration instantaneously, because the sound velocity was changed with the mass ratio of oil to refrigerant. The separation efficiency of the separator could be obtained by comparing the mass fraction of oil to refrigerant before and after the separator was connected to the system.

Technology Innovation and Practice of Green Exploitation Projects of Oil and Gas in the Western SichuanGas Field

摘要: The green (environmentally friendly) project of mining oil and gas in the Western Sichuan area is based on the green low-carbon development strategy of the China Petrochemical Corporation, and it commits to form a complete set of technological developments in oil and gas extraction processes. The project focuses on technology innovation in three aspects: reuse of fracturing flow back fluid, reuse of drilling fluid, and configuration of fracturing fluid and drilling fluid by formation water. A series of technology innovations not only realize the green low-carbon strategy of the enterprise, but also play an important role in lowering cost and improving efficiency. In addition, the technology achieves remarkable social and economic benefits and inspires the ideas for industry technology innovation.

介绍作者开发的一种汽油机用新型燃料,为检验其品质,对发动机缸内过程参数进行了全面测试分析。结果表明:汽油机燃用轻油基混合燃料时无爆震,动力性稍低于燃用汽油,缸内过程参数标准偏差明显低于燃用汽油。这充分说明,所开发的轻油基混合燃料品质优良,适于汽油机使用。
